What are microgreens?
Microgreens are the young seedlings of vegetables and herbs, harvested just 7 to 14 days after germination—when the first true leaves appear. At this early stage, the plant concentrates a high level of nutrients, making microgreens more potent in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants than their fully grown counterparts. They're typically 3–10 cm tall and are known for their intense flavor, vibrant colors, and crisp texture.
Grown from familiar plants like broccoli, radish, kale, peas, and sunflower, these mini greens are more than just a garnish. They contain up to 40x more nutrients than mature greens—making them true superfoods in a small package.
At SWAG Farm, our microgreens are grown indoors in a clean, pesticide-free environment, right here in Eindhoven. We harvest fresh for every order to ensure you get the most vibrant, flavorful greens—whether you're plating a fine dish or topping off your sandwich at home.
